Welcome to the Conformly blog: our accessibility rules watch
This blog tracks the official sources of accessibility rules and explains every change. First marker: Conformly's scan engine currently runs on axe-core 4.12.1 (WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, levels A/AA).
Why watch the rules
Accessibility rules evolve: new axe-core engine versions, RGAA reference updates, European Accessibility Act deadlines. Continuously tracking these sources keeps the scanner — and your compliance — up to date.
Our sources
We monitor three sources: axe-core releases (the test engine), the RGAA reference published by France's DINUM, and the European Accessibility Act texts. Every article starts from a real, cited change — never an unsourced claim.
Our engine today
The free scan and continuous monitoring run on axe-core 4.12.1, covering WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 at levels A and AA, complemented by expert checks (language, title, skip link, visible focus, 200% zoom).
