How we measure

Every page is loaded in a real browser (Playwright), then analysed by axe-core, complemented by checks we wrote ourselves for points axe does not cover.

Results map to RGAA 4.1.2, the French standard, aligned with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The standard has 106 criteria. Our engine covers 26 of them automatically.

That mapping between technical rules and RGAA criteria is versioned inside the product: a scan can be re-scored identically later, and history stays comparable.

What we do not measure

The remaining 80 criteria require human judgement: whether a text alternative is relevant, whether a reading order makes sense, whether a link label is clear. No automated tool settles those, and we do not claim otherwise.

A Conformly score is therefore never a legal conformance rate, and does not replace an expert audit. It exists to catch regressions continuously, which a one-off audit cannot do.

We only display measured figures. The criteria counts on this page are derived from the product: if it changes, the page changes with it.
