axe-core 4.13.0 Release

Key Updates

Release 4.13.0 introduces support for Element Internals, enabled by default. It also includes a Swedish translation from the community and a Finnish contribution.

This update resolves 10 false positives, including all critical ones, and incorporates 13 updates to stay aligned with current web standards.

Features and Bug Fixes

Added features include support for the aria-actions attribute, sectionheader and sectionfooter roles, and treating role=image as equivalent to role=img. Deprecated ARIA attributes are now flagged for review.

Bug fixes apply to rules such as color-contrast, landmark-unique, image-alt, and various ARIA attribute checks.
